About the Role
The Product Marketing & B2B Specialist plays a key part in driving the growth of St John NSW’s commercial revenue by developing and executing strategic cross-sell and upsell opportunities across our various products, training and health services.
Reporting to the GM Marketing & Communications, you will work closely with the Product, Sales and Training teams to identify opportunities, develop targeted strategies and translate them into effective market activations. You will bring these strategies to life across our branches, training centres, local promotions, retail channels, and community and industry events.
This is a hands-on commercial marketing role that combines strategic thinking with practical execution, offering an excellent opportunity to build expertise and develop a career in B2B marketing within a purpose-driven organisation.

- Develop calendar of events that provide a platform for driving commercials. This includes managing major events – turning trades shows into sales events that drive a positive ROI and turning our own EHS (event health services) such as City 2 Surf, Royal Easter Show, ViVid Sydney into opportunities that drive brand metrics and engagement as well as commercial goals.
- Develop and produce sales enablement collateral, merchandise and promotional materials, from initial brief through to final production – includes scoping these projects for impact on commercials and ensuring we develop materials/content that can be multi-purposed across channels
- Build strong working relationships with volunteer Zones and Divisions as well as head office-based Customer Service, Field Sales and BDM teams to understand their priorities and shape marketing support that helps them meet our strategic business goals
- Maintain a self-service resource library of collateral and templates, ensuring teams across the business can access what they need, when they need it
Essential Criteria
- 2-3 years' experience in a marketing coordinator or similar role, with a background in ecommerce, retail and/or B2B marketing, and genuine exposure to B2B sales cycles and buyers.
- Proven ability to develop sales enablement and promotional materials that support commercial outcomes, from brief through to delivery.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across sales, product and marketing functions, translating business priorities into effective marketing activity.
- Proven experience running always-on and campaign-based SEM, SEO, AEO and paid advertising that delivers measurable commercial results.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and how data can be used to drive customer journeys and commercial results; Dynamics 365 experience an advantage.
- Experience coordinating events end-to-end, with confidence representing an organisation in front of customers, partners and industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting ability across sales, local and internal content.
