Product Marketing Lead Build Kew Reach’s marketing function from the ground up, growing Palette through content, SEO, paid acquisition and account-based campaigns for a nature-positive future. About Kew Reach A better future for people and planet, made possible through the power of a thriving and resilient natural world. Launched in 2024, Kew Reach is a joint venture with the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, set up to deliver nature-based solutions to restore ecosystems in any setting. We accelerate nature-positive action at scale, grounded in scientific expertise, shaped by creative thinking, and sustained through collaboration. We put the knowledge of more than 500 scientists and a global network of specialists directly into the hands of the professionals shaping the built and natural environment, so they can make defensible, climate-resilient decisions about nature restoration projects of every size, from ecosystem regeneration to urban development. What We Do We offer an end-to-end service guided by the Kew Method, spanning baseline assessment, climate-informed design and delivery, species sourcing, long-term monitoring and capacity building, ensuring every project is credible, resilient and delivers measurable nature gain. This spans three Labs: the City Lab, bringing climate-resilient planting and green infrastructure into city and development environments; the Restoration Lab, turning degraded land into resilient, biodiverse ecosystems; and the Infrastructure Lab, delivering nature-based solutions for major capital projects. Capacity building runs through all three, equipping local teams and institutions to sustain nature-positive action after handover. Behind all of it: 500+ Kew scientists, 400 collaborating institutes across 100 countries, and 260 years of botanical research. Introducing Palette Our platform, Palette, brings that same scientific confidence to decisions about planting, biodiversity and habitat. Built around our core climate-resilient tree species-selection tools, we're expanding its capabilities to cover pollinator and habitat analysis, combined biodiversity planning, and tools designed for local-authority use. We build Palette for the people who make and influence these decisions: engineering and environmental consultancies, architecture firms, landscape architecture practices, and council and public-sector teams. The role We're hiring our first Marketing Lead to drive demand generation for Palette and build the marketing function from the ground up at Kew Reach. You'll shape and run our content, website and marketing outreach, along with the reporting that shows it's working. Accountable for growing Free-tier signups through the website at the lowest defensible cost per qualified signup, using whichever mix of organic content, SEO and paid digital advertising proves most cost-effective in testing. You'll also deliver our webinar and event programme. Working closely alongside our Business Development Director who leads on client relationships and our consultancy services, you'll drive everything that builds the pipeline and keeps it moving. This is a hands-on role for someone who has run product marketing before, either as an early marketer in a small company or a senior marketer inside a larger one and is now ready to build something of their own. Marketing runs on two engines, and you will drive both: • Account-based marketing (sales-assisted). Named-account campaigns into engineering consultancies, top-tier architecture firms and large landscape practices. • Product-led funnel. Search-led content built on Kew science, SEO and AI-search optimisation, cost-effective paid digital acquisition, lifecycle email and in-product conversion, turning Free-tier signups into paying customers. What you'll be measured on Success is judged on commercial outcomes: • A growing pipeline of ICP-qualified Free signups converting into paying customers, hitting ambitious FY27 funnel targets. • Marketing measurably sourcing and accelerating the named-account pipeline into architecture, engineering and landscape firms • A credible, improving trend in cost per ICP-qualified signup and trial-to-paid conversion, reported monthly alongside the sales pipeline. About you You are likely a digitally native B2B marketer with roughly 7 to 10 years of experience, who has owned product marketing in a small company or held a senior marketing role in a larger one. You are equally comfortable writing the content yourself and reporting on the funnel that content feeds. Essential • Proven product marketing experience in B2B SaaS in a high growth company, ideally including product-led growth: taking a product to market and owning the funnel that converts it. • Strong long-form content ability: you can write authoritative, technically credible pieces and turn a complex proposition into a clear message. • Hands-on expertise with HubSpot (or a comparable marketing automation / CRM platform) with LinkedIn automation and ABM tooling, and with paid digital acquisition (LinkedIn and Google Ads) run on a disciplined test-and-scale budget. • Domain knowledge or genuine affinity in at least one of design, landscape or ecology, whether through work, study or serious interest. • A basic scientific grounding, or the background and education to get up to speed quickly on the science we communicate (climate resilience, biodiversity, species selection, BNG). Nice to have • Vertical software or built-environment experience, preferred over a generalist brand background. • Familiarity with Biodiversity Net Gain, NSIPs, or public-sector / G-Cloud procurement. • Experience marketing to architects, engineers, landscape architects or local authorities. What we offer • Salary : Up to £75,000 and a bonus of up to 20%. • The chance to build a marketing function from scratch on a genuinely differentiated, science-backed product, with the mandate and budget to make it work. • Direct access to the commercial team and Kew's scientists, and real influence over strategy from day one. • Hybrid working, with regular time together in our Richmond, London office. How to apply Send your CV and a short covering note to [email protected] . We review applications on a rolling basis. Division Kew Reach Locations London Remote status Hybrid About Kew Reach Kew Reach was founded to respond to the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss, created as a science-driven partnership between the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and Greensphere Capital's Gaia Sciences Innovation platform. We believe in a better future for people and planet, made possible through the power of a thriving and resilient natural world.
