Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 12 months contract Work Setup: Hybrid. 2 Days per week in office in Midrand or Woodlands Our client in the Automotive and Mobility Technology industry is looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to serve as a mid-senior level marketing professional responsible for building comprehensive product marketing capabilities across consumer and commercial customer segments. This role bridges the gap between product development and market execution by creating messaging frameworks, product content, sales enablement resources, customer onboarding content, and supporting product launches. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, strong content development capabilities, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration to support product growth and effective go-to-market execution. What you will do: Develop messaging frameworks and positioning for products across Consumer and Commercial customer segments. Create clear value propositions and differentiation stories, ensuring consistent messaging across channels. Develop product content including product overviews, product landing pages, case studies, testimonials, solution briefs, white papers, thought leadership pieces, and, where appropriate for specific sales channels, product fact and data sheets. Plan and execute product launches in partnership with the product team through coordinated go-to-market campaigns. Manage product marketing updates within marketing and support initiatives focused on market growth. Create sales collateral, including pitch decks, to support effective product and sales engagement. Provide targeted sales enablement for insurance and motor dealer channels. Support the product team with training collateral and competitor insights. Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to identify relevant market opportunities and risks. Provide positioning insights and track relevant industry benchmarks. Partner with product teams to align product development and market execution. Collaborate with the Campaign Marketing Specialist to support integrated marketing activities and product campaigns. Support the Lead: Brand and Sponsorships on relevant product marketing initiatives. Translate technical product features into clear customer benefits and positive outcomes that address customer problems and pain points. Conduct research and analysis to inform product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. Support customer onboarding content and product communications across relevant customer segments. 4–5+ years of product marketing experience. Strong understanding of campaign execution and integrated marketing activities. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop compelling product positioning. Excellent content creation skills, with the ability to translate technical features into positive customer outcomes that solve customer problems and pain points. Proven experience supporting product launches and go-to-market execution. Understanding of sales processes and experience creating effective sales enablement resources. Experience working across both B2B and B2C environments. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams. Strong research and analytical skills.
