About the Role: Join us as our next Product Operations Lead and become the operational heartbeat of our Product organization. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with leaders across Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Business Operations to ensure critical programs, processes, and partnerships run seamlessly. From supporting OEM partner initiatives and customer onboarding to driving operational insights and business reporting, your work will directly influence how we scale, collaborate, and make decisions. You'll take ownership of key operational workflows, including usage and billing reconciliations, onboarding approvals, OEM roadmap coordination, and engineering investment reporting. You'll also help shape the quality and reliability of business metrics that guide strategic decisions across the organization. Success in this role comes from balancing precision with influence. You'll navigate complex processes, align cross-functional stakeholders, and bring clarity to initiatives where priorities don't always naturally align. Along the way, you'll work closely with the VP of Product Management and an Engineering team, contributing product management support for a squad. What you will do: Own recurring OEM billing and usage reconciliation processes (e.g., drawdown usage, hybrid subscription reconciliation) in partnership with Finance and OEM partners Prepare and validate monthly usage, billing, and invoicing data for Finance Coordinate OEM/partner-related meetings and support internal roadmap communications, championing OEM-driven initiatives across Product Management and Engineering teams Track and report on OEM roadmap items, CSFs, and epic status to support Product Management and stakeholder updates Track OEM-related engineering investment using tools such as LinearB and maintain Confluence records for reporting Triage and respond to OEM-related operational requests Maintain process documentation and product notifications shared with OEM partner support teams Maintain and administer customer onboarding runbooks, RACI ownership, and approval workflows, coordinating across Business Operations and Product Engineering Manage the approval and exception process for account onboarding requests that fall outside standard runbook criteria Coordinate cross-team dependencies related to order fulfillment, account provisioning, and pricing/package changes Flag process gaps, data discrepancies, or automation opportunities to Product and Engineering leadership Contribute product requirements and user stories for the platform initiatives, partnering with Product leadership and Engineering to shape the backlog Support the build-out and ongoing data accuracy of new metrics and business dashboards for Product Management leadership reporting What You Will Bring to the Role Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent experience 3-5 years of experience in an operations, business analyst, program coordination, or product operations role, ideally in B2B SaaS Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams across cross-functional teams Comfort working with data — able to interpret usage reports, reconcile spreadsheets, and partner with Engineering and Finance on data quality; scripting or SQL is a plus Experience maintaining or authoring process documentation (runbooks, SOPs, RACI matrices) Experience supporting billing, invoicing, or usage reconciliation processes is highly desirable Experience with or exposure to OEM partnership models or enterprise software billing is a plus Familiarity with cloud platforms (SaaS products, cloud brokers, or integration middleware) is an asset Clear written and verbal communicator, able to work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Business Operations, and Engineering Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and/or reporting tools (e.g., LinearB, Excel, Power BI) is a plus Basic familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices (writing user stories, contributing to backlog grooming) is a plus PMP or similar certification is not required but would not be a deterrent Ability to work independently, follow and improve documented processes and manage competing priorities Why You’ll Want to Join Us at Solace We have an awesome team! Role Status: EXISTING Duration: 8–10 month contract/temporary position Expected Salary Range: Expected salary range for this role is from $105,000 to $125,000, based on a 40 hour work week.
