Product Owner

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Product Owner to drive the delivery of digital banking products that support the bank’s strategic goals and incorporate customer needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Translate banking strategy into execution:

• Partner with our Head of Product to transform visionary strategies into clear, prioritized work—think Epics, User Stories, and real impact.
• Dive into customer needs, market trends and competitor moves to keep us ahead in the digital banking game.

Own the product backlog:

• Define Epics and break them down into User Stories with acceptance criteria that translate business priorities into detailed, incremental deliverables.
• Own and refine the product backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver top-notch banking products.
• Oversee implementation and delivery and validate product success metrics

Provide deep expertise in cards, daily banking and liabilities products:

• Be the go-to expert on liability and cards products including tokenization, fraud prevention, and payment ecosystems.
• Ensure everything we build ticks all regulatory boxes (PSD2 and local rules).

Drive customer value and business performance:

• Drive KPIs that matter: adoption, satisfaction, revenue, and risk metrics
• Analyze customer feedback and data to continuously improve our offerings.
• Team up with Marketing to define got-to-market strategies and launch activities for new products and features that customers will love.

Your Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within digital banking, fintech, or payments, with strong focus on card products.
• In-depth knowledge of card issuing, payment systems, and daily banking/liabilities products in the European market (knowledge of the Austrian market is a plus).
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven Agile/Scrum experience with remote cross-functional delivery teams, driving product solution design and oversee implementation and delivery.
• Strong analytical and data-driven approach to product decisions and product success validation.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro and AI tools is a nice to have
