Product Owner

Role summary

You will act as the senior Product Owner for one or more products (client‑owned or MTI‑owned), serving as the primary liaison between stakeholders, clients, and development teams.

You are not just a backlog manager; you are the on‑the‑ground owner of product value, priorities, and outcomes, working directly with stakeholders and clients to ensure that delivered increments meet real business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for MTI’s Agile teams, representing the client or MTI product owner.
• Work directly with stakeholders and clients to clarify needs, negotiate priorities, and align product objectives.
• Translate business goals into product vision, objectives, and success criteria, and ensure each feature delivers clear value.
• Conduct product discovery using Persona, CJM, and User Story Mapping with stakeholders and designers.
• Create and maintain an Inception Deck and facilitate kickoffs, reviews, and refinements.
• Own and refine the product backlog, define sprint goals and release plans, and conduct backlog refinement.
• Communicate the product vision, roadmap, and release plan to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Partner with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to define user flows and key interactions.
• Support UAT, collect feedback, and ensure fast feedback loops to the development team.
• Prepare release‑related documentation and follow MTI’s release procedures.
• Define and monitor product KPIs and success metrics, and adjust the backlog based on data.
• Support Agile practice improvement and coach other BAs / Proxy Product Owners.

Who We Are Looking For

• Fluent English (spoken & written)
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, SCM, or related field, or strong practical experience in product management or BA‑like roles with product‑ownership tasks.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools, agents, or models (e.g., LLM‑based assistants, AI‑driven workflows, or AI‑enabled products) is a plus
• Experience acting as a Product Owner, BA with ownership, or similar role in software development environments (Agile/Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Well-organized, pays attention to details, and can handle many tasks and priorities at the same time.
• Continuous‑improvement and data‑driven mindset.
• Savvy tech user; experience with app/website design or UX tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Jira) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile Software Development and backlog management is required.
