Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, OR
- 2-year college degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field AND 2 years relevant work experience, OR
- A combination of equivalent work experience and education.

2+ years of oil & gas accounting experience required; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision/Roadmap Management: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives in cooperation with the VP of product/Product Manager. Conducts research and develops a good understanding of the customer’s needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors.
- Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the needs of the stakeholders and is effectively communicated to the development team.
- Requirements Definition: Develops requirements documents, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts, in cooperation with Product Management, Customer Success, and Engineering Leads.
- Prioritization: Determine the priority of items in the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and other relevant factors, and communicate these priorities to the development team.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the development and product teams throughout the sprint to clarify requirements, provide feedback, and ensure the product developed meets the acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, communicate progress, and ensure alignment with their needs and expectations.
- Release Planning: Participates in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and integration of products, and introducing products to the market.
- Quality Assurance: Work with the development and quality assurance team to ensure that the delivered product meets quality standards and fulfills the defined requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback from stakeholders and team members to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:
- A deep understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices

Optional experience but extremely desirable:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership qualities including the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower the team.
- Experience working in an Agile focused team including working with Product Managers and other key stakeholders
- Understanding of the oil and gas industry and the associated domains including any regulatory requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does not have any direct members reporting to it.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

- Salary is commensurate with experience (Insert Band) and paid twice monthly via direct deposit. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. PakEnergy reserves the right to adjust ranges based on qualifications, experience, training, work history, and geographic location of the selected candidate.
