Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner with a strong banking background to support a digital transformation programme focused on automating and enhancing the client onboarding journey.

The successful candidate should have a strong techno-functional background and will work closely with business, operations, technology and other stakeholders. They should have solid experience in requirements gathering, solution design, user story writing, product enhancements, Agile ceremonies, and product backlog management within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own product requirements, roadmap and backlog prioritization to maximise business value.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into user stories, functional specifications and solution designs.
• Collaborate with business, operations and technology teams to drive digitalization and automation initiatives.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and work closely with development teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve delivery challenges and ensure alignment across teams.
• Support testing, implementation and continuous product improvement.
• Ensure solutions comply with banking governance, risk and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the banking industry.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, ideally in digital banking, client onboarding or channel management.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, user story writing and backlog management.
• Techno-functional background with the ability to bridge business requirements and technology solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and deliver effectively in a busy-paced environment.

Contract: 12 months, with potential for extension or conversion depending on business requirements.
