Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Product Owner to lead the vision, roadmap, adoption, and continuous evolution of our DevSecOps Automation Platform. This role will own products and capabilities that enable software engineering teams to accelerate delivery while improving security, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The Senior Product Owner will partner with Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud Platform, and Application Development teams to define and prioritize automation capabilities across the software development lifecycle. This includes CI/CD pipelines, GitHub platform services, security scanning, testing automation, infrastructure as code, developer self-service, observability, and compliance automation.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of modern software delivery practices, DevSecOps principles, Agile product management, and enterprise-scale platform enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for DevSecOps automation capabilities.
- Align platform investments with enterprise technology and application modernization objectives.
- Develop product vision, success measures, and value realization metrics.
- Identify opportunities to reduce delivery friction through automation and self-service capabilities.
Product Ownership
- Own and prioritize the DevSecOps product backlog.
- Translate business and engineering requirements into epics, features, and user stories.
- Balance priorities across security, compliance, developer experience, platform reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and release objectives.
DevSecOps Platform Enablement
- Drive adoption of enterprise CI/CD standards and automation practices.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve developer productivity and platform experience.
- Lead roadmap planning for capabilities such as:
- GitHub Enterprise
- GitHub Actions
- Azure DevOps integrations
- Security automation
- Infrastructure as Code
- Automated testing
- Secret management
- Software supply chain security
- Deployment automation
- Platform observability
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between product consumers, engineering teams, cybersecurity, and leadership.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
- Communicate roadmap updates, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes to stakeholders.
- Build consensus across multiple technology organizations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile product delivery environments.
- Experience managing enterprise platform products serving multiple engineering teams.
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and automation.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and modern engineering practices.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.

Education Level:
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering
Preferred Discipline(s): Business Administration, Information Technology

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range:
$116,300 - $151,100
The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location. This is not intended to represent the full salary range for the position or limit future compensation growth.
