The Product Owner – Digital Foundation is responsible for defining and prioritizing product requirements, translating business needs into actionable technical solutions, and ensuring delivery of high-value products that support AbbVie R&D’s Digital Foundation. Serves as a bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and other cross-functional partners to drive product strategy, execution, and continuous improvement. Lead complex initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and help shape outcomes across multiple workstreams. Responsibilities: Lead multiple workstreams within enterprise transformation and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment to business priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to assess business needs, define action plans, and implement solutions that improve organizational performance. Support AI-enabled and technology-driven initiatives by developing adoption strategies to encourage stakeholder engagement with tools and applications. Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned to business objectives. Translate complex business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable requirements for technical teams. Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, and business partners to support successful product development and delivery. Lead or support sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and other agile ceremonies as needed. Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Communicate product vision, roadmap, priorities, risks, and release plans to stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Drive change management and adoption efforts for new digital foundation products, tools, and processes. Required: Bachelor's Degree with 7 years’ experience; or Master’s Degree with 6 years’ experience; or PhD with 2 years’ experience Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional workstreams, managing multiple priorities, and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to develop concise presentations, synthesize insights, and communicate effectively with senior leaders. Experience working with software engineering teams in an Agile environment. Familiarity with APIs, data flows, system integrations, or cloud-based products Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments Preferred: Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms preferred.
