You will become part of a team of 11 talented colleagues, including Product Managers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and external UX/UI and software development partners. Together, we work in an agile, highly collaborative environment to develop and continuously improve digital solutions that support our customers, laboratories, and commercial teams worldwide. In this role, you will play a key part in connecting business needs with digital innovation and ensuring that our digital products continue to deliver impact across the organization.
The Role & Your Impact
As Product Owner, you will own a portfolio of web-based digital tools that enable a strategically important global service supporting Novonesis Dairy customers. The service is delivered through 10 laboratories and a network of more than 40 experts supporting Customer Account Teams across all regions.
Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and the Digital Product Team, you will ensure that customer and user needs are translated into valuable digital solutions and successfully delivered from idea to launch. The role combines hands-on product ownership and operational excellence with opportunities to contribute to strategic planning and digital transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and continuously improving a portfolio of digital solutions and applications.
- Translating stakeholder needs, opportunities, and challenges into clear product requirements.
- Driving end-to-end product delivery together with UX/UI designers, developers, and architects.
- Defining, prioritizing, and maintaining product backlogs, features, and user stories.
- Coordinating testing, launches, communication, training activities, and hypercare support.
- Ensuring successful integrations with platforms such as Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, and Benchling.
- Leading scoping of initiatives, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Supporting customers, internal users and stakeholders with requests and issues related to the owned digital tools.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
- 5+ years of experience within Product Ownership, Product Management, Digital Transformation, or a similar role.
- Proven experience working in agile software development environments and leading cross-functional deliveries.
- Experience collaborating with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, and UX/UI designers.
- Experience collaborating with industry experts, Technical Service specialists, Sales and Business Development teams.
- Experience delivering or supporting integrations with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, Benchling, or similar systems.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Microsoft Azure DevOps, or comparable tools.
- A strong customer and user-centric mindset with the ability to balance business and technical needs.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build alignment across Business, IT, Commercial, and R&D.
Additional Skills & Interests We Value
Experience from biotech, pharmaceutical, food, or manufacturing industries would be an advantage, particularly if combined with exposure to laboratory environments or production automation. We also value experience working closely with commercial organizations, service designers, or UX professionals, as well as familiarity with customer-facing digital services and globally distributed teams.

Ways of Working
This position is based in Denmark, with Lyngby as the primary workplace and regular collaboration in Hørsholm. We work in a flexible hybrid setup that combines office collaboration with the opportunity to work from home when relevant. The role involves close interaction with globally distributed stakeholders and teams and benefits from an active on-site presence and strong cross-functional engagement.
