Operations for the airline industry. As Product Owner for Operational AI & Automation, you will

own the product vision, roadmap and prioritization of capabilities that support our Operations

teams across application and infrastructure services. You will translate operational challenges into

valuable AI, automation, knowledge and observability use cases and guide them from idea to

production adoption. This role sits at the intersection of Operations, AI, Engineering and business

value. You will work closely with Service Operations teams, Product Teams, AI Enablement,

architects and engineering teams to continuously evolve our Operational AI capability.

Your responsibilities will include

• Own and continuously evolve the Operational AI & Automation product vision and roadmap.
• Manage and prioritize a backlog of AI, automation, knowledge and observability use cases based on business value and operational need.
• Translate operational pain points into clear product requirements, user stories and measurable outcomes.
• Work closely with Service Operations teams to validate requirements and ensure solutions are embedded into daily workflows.
• Drive the evolution of AI-assisted capabilities such as ticket categorization, triage, knowledge retrieval, solution guidance, operational insights and automation.
• Define success criteria and KPIs for use cases and continuously measure delivered business value.
• Coordinate pilots, MVPs and production rollouts and ensure successful transition into operational use.
• Support Make / Buy / Partner evaluations and contribute to technology and vendor decisions.
• Facilitate collaboration between Operations, AI Enablement, Product Teams, Architecture, Security and Engineering.
• Establish an effective Agile / SAFe delivery rhythm including backlog refinement, planning, demos and stakeholder reviews.
• Drive adoption through communication, enablement and feedback loops.
• Ensure lessons learned from pilots and production usage continuously feed into the roadmap.

You will be successful if you have

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
• Experience working with IT Operations, ITSM or enterprise software environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ideally practical experience in a SAFe environment.
• Experience translating business or operational needs into technical products and capabilities.
• Strong understanding of AI / GenAI concepts and their practical application in business processes.
• Experience with Jira / Trackspace or similar backlog and workflow tools.
• Strong analytical and prioritization skills, with a focus on measurable business value.
• Excellent communication skills in English and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive topics independently across organizational boundaries.

Advantage

• Experience with AIOps, ITSM, automation or observability.
• Experience working with LLMs, AI agents, RAG or AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience with cloud environments such as Azure or GCP.
• Experience with enterprise AI governance, security or compliance.
• Knowledge of the airline industry.
