Product Owner, Payments & EBT Solutions Payments Strategy | EBT Platforms | Product Lifecycle | Financial Technology Position Overview Conduent is seeking a strategic and highly experienced Product Owner, Payments & EBT Solutions to lead and drive the development of innovative payment and Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) solutions that support government clients while ensuring compliance, scalability, security, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in payment processing, card technologies, transaction ecosystems, and product lifecycle management, along with a proven ability to translate market opportunities and customer needs into high-impact product strategies. Responsibilities Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Payments and EBT platform solutions. Align product priorities with business objectives, customer requirements, regulatory needs, and market opportunities. Evaluate industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to drive product innovation and differentiation. Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through implementation, launch, adoption, and ongoing enhancement. Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, market demands, and strategic objectives. Manage product backlogs, release planning, and feature prioritization activities. Ensure product requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to delivery teams. Validates product enhancements and engages in User Acceptance testing. Contributes to and manages projects. Uses deductive reasoning to solve problems and make recommendations. Interfaces with and influences key stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. 15+ years of experience in Payments, Financial Services, EBT, or Transaction Processing. Minimum 8 years of product management experience supporting payment platforms, card processing solutions, or related financial technology products. Deep knowledge of payment processing, transaction lifecycles, authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and payment networks. Experience with ISO messaging standards and payment transaction flows. Experience implementing EMV chip card technology, including EMV migration, certification, card issuance, and payment acceptance solutions. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills. Proven experience developing product roadmaps and leading cross-functional product teams. Ability to translate business needs into scalable product capabilities and configurable solutions. Flexible Working At Conduent, we want you to be yourself. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $97,020-$126,000.
