Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer located in Santo Domingo. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing software solutions for our clients. The role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and provide customized software solutions that meet client needs, as well as staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Job Summary:

Product Support is responsible of address technical issues relating to our live software products implementation, functions, and upgrades. The primary responsibility is troubleshooting andresolving internal and external client complaints or errors and logging any unresolved issues to latercreate final resolutions. When not fixing active issues, they will contribute to product developmentand process improvement and optimization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make sure all code written for customer runs optimally, fulfills its business purpose,

and complies with Inmediata’s Standards and Best Practices for defect-free products.

• Participate in all stages of the product development process, including designing, building, and testing in Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Maintains systems working optimally, monitoring, and addressing system alerts.

• Prepare extensive documentation when logging product issues, as they must note all details,including their observations, diagnoses, and action steps. Other common tasks include weeklyreports summarizing production performance, release notes for upgrades, and troubleshootingguides.

• Respond successfully to manual operational tasks, proposing automation for them.

• Suggest overall product improvements, such evaluating engineering processes and providerecommendations to increase efficiency.

• Comply with other assigned tasks or projects, according to the departmental and / or company needs.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Computer Science/IT or related area preferred.

• 3 years of experience in software development.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven proficiency in languages/platforms: C#, VB6, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Web API/SOAP/REST.

• Proven proficiency in the following platforms: SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, IIS, VSS, TFS, Windows.

• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

• Strong knowledge in navigating, understanding, and optimizing relational databases.

• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
