As a Product & Tailor-Made Consultant, you'll play a key part in the end-to-end sales, consultation and booking of tailored independent trips (FIT) and private group trips across the Southern Africa region – South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Eswatini & Lesotho. You'll work closely with our global sales offices to understand customer needs, design memorable itineraries and deliver exceptional service from enquiry through to booking. Working closely with the Destination Product & Tailor-Made Manager, you’ll ensure that our customised trips match market trends and traveller interests, while identifying opportunities to grow our product range. You’ll also be the go-to person for our customers seeking FIT & Private Group itineraries, using your destination knowledge and product expertise to create trips that fulfil their expectations. This is a permanent full-time role, based in our Johannesburg office, where you'll work in a 3-2-1 hybrid model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, including at least 1 office day on a Monday or Friday. Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: Strong destination and travel knowledge of Southern Africa In-depth knowledge of Southern Africa travel operations, ideally within tailor-made & small group adventure travel Proven experience with selling and booking trips Experience creating adventure travel products Ability to build great relationships with suppliers, and internal teams Strong written and verbal English communication skills We know people bring different experiences and perspectives, so even if you don’t tick every box, we still encourage you to apply.
