Production And Inventory Control Manager

We’re hiring: China Supply Chain & Inventory Manager

MAEN DONATI is looking for an experienced, hands-on operator to take end-to-end ownership of our inventory and logistics operations in China.

This person will manage the complete flow from inventory forecasting and purchasing through factory production, inbound logistics, warehousing and customer fulfilment.

This is not an administrative inventory position. You will be expected to independently identify risks, solve operational problems and build the systems and team required to support rapid international growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Own inventory planning, demand forecasting, safety stock and replenishment

• Maintain accurate stock visibility across factories, production, transit, warehouses and Shopify

• Manage purchase orders, supplier documentation, deposits and delivery timelines

• Coordinate directly with Chinese factories, fulfilment centres and logistics partners

• Investigate inventory discrepancies, stockouts, damaged products and fulfilment exceptions

• Standardize SKUs, product data, packaging data and naming conventions

• Organize quality inspections at factory level and track recurring defects

• Evaluate and implement scalable inventory, purchasing and reporting systems

• Replace spreadsheet dependency with reliable processes, automation and controls

• Create the inventory and logistics department from the ground up

The ideal candidate:

• Is based in the Guangzhou / Pearl River Delta region

• Speaks professional Mandarin and English

• Has strong experience with Chinese factories and suppliers

• Has owned inventory planning, purchasing and logistics—not merely reporting

• Understands international e-commerce, fulfilment and Shopify operations

• Is comfortable visiting factories, warehouses and operational partners

• Can operate independently in a fast-growing and changing environment

• Has implemented or improved an ERP, WMS or inventory-management system

• Thinks like an owner and resolves problems before they affect customers or revenue

The position is full-time and initially remote, with regular visits to factories and operational partners. The role reports directly to the COO.

Compensation will be determined based on experience and demonstrated capability. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
