The Production Coordinator supports the smooth and efficient flow of production activities by updating delivery dates, releasing work orders, redate overdue work orders, ensuring picked items are moved correctly between workstations and updating item statuses within the ERP system. This role plays a vital part in maintaining production accuracy, workflow continuity, and timely order completion.

What you'll be doing:

  • Move picked items to the appropriate production areas in line with daily schedules and priorities.

  • Accurately update the status of works orders, components, and assemblies within the ERP system.

  • Record movements, stock adjustments, and production progress in real time.

  • Flag discrepancies or missing items to the Workshop Manager or relevant teams.

  • Collaborate with Production, Stores, and Quality teams to support operational needs.

  • Ensure traceability and data accuracy through diligent ERP updates.

Who we are looking for:

Essential:

  • Experience in a production, workshop, or manufacturing environment.

  • Basic proficiency with ERP/stock management systems.

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience using ERP systems such as Dynamics D365.

  • Forklift or material-handling experience.

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows.
