Lead, coordinate and optimize the production operations of the Rubí HQ plant, ensuring the achievement of Safety, Quality, Service and Cost (SQCD) objectives. This role focuses on the efficient management of people and technical resources, the development of the production team, and the implementation of operational standards and continuous improvement practices in an international customer environment. 🛠️Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day 1. Operational Management (End-to-End Production Ownership) Own the execution of the production plan in close coordination with the Planning team. Ensure the achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets (OTIF, productivity, scrap, efficiency). Directly manage the production structure, including shift coordinators, support roles, and shift organization. Oversee a production organization of approximately 100 employees operating across four shifts. 2. Team Leadership & Development Lead, develop, and evaluate the production team within a multi-level organizational structure. Define capacity needs, team sizing, and shift organization. Promote a high-performance culture based on accountability and ownership. Manage employee engagement, workplace climate, and conflict resolution. Foster a positive working environment built on collaboration, effective communication, and coordination, in line with company values and principles. 3. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Lead safety as a core operational priority across the plant. Actively participate in audits, Safety Walks (SW), and incident investigations. 4. Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and internal procedures. Lead the resolution of internal and external non-conformities. Collaborate closely with the Quality team in internal/external audits and continuous improvement of the quality system. 5. Continuous Improvement & Lean Lead continuous improvement initiatives under Lean Manufacturing principles. Identify improvement opportunities in processes, layouts, flows, and overall efficiency. Implement visual management, standardization, and process control tools. 6. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with key internal stakeholders, including: Planning (demand–production alignment) Engineering Maintenance (equipment reliability) Quality (compliance and improvement) Logistics (material flow) Act as a key integration point for day-to-day operational coordination. 7. Cost Control & Performance Management Monitor and control operational costs (labor, waste, efficiency). Track and report production KPIs. Actively contribute to meeting plant budget targets and performance objectives. ✅ What you need to shine in this role Degree in Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing education. Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment (chemical, FMCG, or fragrance sectors). At least 5 years of experience leading production teams. Proven experience managing complex, multi‑shift production structures. Experience working in international environments with high standards in quality and service.
