The Production Operations Specialist is responsible for the operational execution of provider and member notification mailing programs, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant production of regulatory and contractual communications. This role serves as the primary coordinator for print production operations, managing the end-to-end mailing process including request intake, data preparation, vendor coordination, proof management, quality assurance, mailing verification, and records retention. The position supports provider contract notifications, member notification programs, ACO regulatory mailings, and other required notification initiatives. This position does not develop communication content, messaging, or communication strategy. Content development, legal review coordination, stakeholder approvals, and communication planning remain the responsibility of the Provider Communications team. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate end-to-end print production for provider and member notification programs, including provider contract notifications, regulatory mailings, and member notification initiatives Manage mail request intake, project tracking, production timelines, and stakeholder communication Prepare, validate, and format mailing data to ensure accuracy and completeness Serve as primary liaison with external print and fulfillment vendors Coordinate production proof review, approval workflows, and quality assurance activities Monitor production schedules and verify successful mailing completion Prepare and maintain production documentation, reports, and records retention files, including historical file archive support Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and compliance You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, production support, vendor management, communications operations, or related fields Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting print production, mailing operations, or fulfillment services Experience coordinating with external vendors Experience in healthcare, regulatory, compliance, or contract-related operations Experience working with data validation, quality assurance, and production documentation Competencies: Operational Excellence Project Coordination Vendor Management Quality Assurance Process Improvement Attention to Detail Stakeholder Communication Organization and Prioritization *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
