Role: Production Team Lead
Reporting to: Production Manager
Location: Vantaa, Finland
As a Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our production and warehouse operations in our logistics center in Vantaa. You will lead and support a team of production employees, ensuring that daily operations run efficiently, customer orders are delivered on time, and quality, security, and environmental standards are consistently met. You will work closely together with the other Production Team Leads to create a safe, productive and high-performing work environment, while ensuring the operational goals, customer expectations and compliance requirements are successfully met.
Main responsibilities & tasks:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of production employees in a fast-paced operational environment.
Ensure production plans are executed efficiently and in compliance with local legislation and company policies.
Monitor daily operations to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in a cost-effective manner.
Maintain high standards for quality, environmental responsibility, and information security.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
Support employee engagement, performance management, skills development, and workforce planning within your team.
Collaborate closely with local management and other stakeholders to achieve operational and business objectives.
Participate in hands-on production work alongside your team when required.
What you bring with you:
Minimum 2 years of experience as technician, supervisor and/or team leader in production/warehouse environment.
Experience from working in an international company is seen as advantage.
Excellent communication skills, including documentation, presentation and information sharing.
Familiarity with planning, quality and safety in production.
Supervisor and people management skills.
Fluency, both written and spoken, in Finnish and English.
Excellent interpersonal and cooperation skills.
Problem solving skills and development mindset.
Educational background as technician or vocational qualifications in technology, logistics, business or similar.
Good skills in Microsoft Office Tools.
Experience of ERP and/or asset management systems.
