Job Summary

Chesapeake Regional Information System for Our Patients (CRISP) is Maryland’s state designated Health Information Exchange and Health Data Utility. CRISP serves as the central hub that connects healthcare providers and organizations, allowing them to securely share patient information and have a more complete view of a patient's medical history. This improves patient care, reduces duplicate tests, and helps patients receive the right care at the right time. CRISP is an affiliate of CRISP Shared Services, a technology partner for multiple HIEs across the nation.

Consistent with CRISP’s role supporting and administering care redesign programs, the Program Analyst will work closely with the State of Maryland (CHRC, OAPC, etc.) and other stakeholders in efforts to support quality programs and state grant initiatives. The Program Analyst will primarily function in support of Maryland AHEAD Primary Care Programs, HERCs, Hospital eCQMs, and research support efforts. The Program Analyst serves as a key coordinator across program teams, and external stakeholders to support program operations, stakeholder engagement, documentation, communications, reporting, and user support activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Support Program Administration efforts related to primary care AHEAD administrative tasks, serving as liaison to ambulatory practices where appropriate
  2. Develop and maintain user guides, technical documentation, reports, presentations, policy documents, white papers, memos, or other written communications
  3. Monitoring and reviewing relevant policy updates
  4. Coordinate research and data request activities, including request tracking, documentation management, stakeholder communication, and meeting scheduling
  5. Assist CRISP and state staff with ad hoc projects that promote understanding of technical details of state initiatives
  6. Strong subject matter expertise in relevant policies including but not limited to MDPCP, HERCs, and the AHEAD Model
  7. Maintain project management tools and tracking systems to ensure accurate and timely project execution
  8. Coordinate meetings and stakeholder engagement activities, including scheduling meetings, agenda development, meeting facilitation support, meeting minutes, action item & deliverables tracking, follow-up communications, and maintaining contact lists

  • Outstanding written and oral communication with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Can work independently and demonstrates a sense of ownership for projects, deliverables, and operational responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and stakeholder support
  • Has strong attention to detail

Experience and/or Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, public health and/or health information technology; Master’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience with data and policy-oriented projects, or equivalent. May substitute relevant coursework for experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools
