Overview Chenega Professional & Technical Services, LLC (CPTS) is an 8(a) Small Business that specializes in providing information technology, health and scientific, engineering and technical support, professional management and administrative services to federal government civilian agencies and the DOD. We are seeking a Program Director to support the growth and project operations of the organization. This position will drive profitability and continued success with current contracts and must recognize and pursue new contract acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and expansion of services to new and existing clients. The Program Director will provide leadership in the context of this position, be engaged, analytical, strategic, collaborative and flexible. He/she will work collaboratively with the leadership team daily to achieve successful program delivery and meet company growth objectives. Responsibilities Leads and Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial and business development activities. Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation. Directs program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems. Responsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned programs. Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits. Performs business development activities, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals. Performs program financial management services, including financial analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement. Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances. Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents. Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested. Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards. Participates in special projects as required. Other duties as assigned Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related business or technical discipline. Minimum ten (10) years of government contracting experience in a combination of program management, federal account management, and business development, preferred. Ability to obtain a government security clearance as needed for contract support (Secret or Top Secret). Ability to Travel. Successfully pass background and drug screening Preferred Qualifications: PMP Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience supporting federal civilian agencies. Well-organized and self-directed individual; ability to balance and prioritize competing requirements. Strong and Effective management and leadership skills. Proven ability to develop strategic initiatives, operating plans, and program mitigation strategies Demonstrated experience with the federal program budget review process Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills. Detailed knowledge of relevant government regulations and standards. Proven experience using Microsoft products to include but not limited to (Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Understanding of hiring practices and processes for the Government, especially for administrative and technical.
