The Role

We are looking for a PMO Analyst to join our growing PMO business, supporting high-profile programmes with governance, reporting, planning, and project controls expertise. This is an excellent opportunity to work across complex infrastructure projects various sectors, energy, and utilities, in particular.

This a full-time role based in Ireland with a hybrid working model, combining work at client offices (Dublin / Cork) with flexibility to work from home.


Key Responsibilities

Governance & Assurance

· Support the implementation and maintenance of programme governance frameworks.

· Coordinate project governance / review meetings, programme boards, steering committees.

· Maintain accurate records of decisions, actions, approvals and governance outcomes.

Project Controls

· Maintain programme control registers and track project performance against baselines.

· Support change control, schedule monitoring and performance analysis activities.

· Assist with project controls reporting and programme assurance reviews.

Reporting & Performance Management

· Produce regular reporting packs for project and programme leadership teams.

· Develop dashboards and management information reports to support client decision-making.

· Analyse project performance data, identifying emerging trends, risks and delivery concerns.

Programme Coordination

· Act as a central coordinator across project management organisation and key stakeholders.

· Monitor programme actions and ensure timely follow-up on key deliverables.

· Facilitate communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams.

Contract and Procurement Management

· Maintain and administer contract documentation, registers, and repositories.

· Monitor contract KPIs and manage contract change requests.

· Create and track purchase orders, invoices, and procurement approvals.

· Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

· Maintain supplier databases and procurement records for audit purposes.


Essential Experience

· Minimum 2 years PMO, Project Controls or Project Management experience.

· Experience supporting complex infrastructure projects, utilities and / or energy, in particular.

· Experience operating within a Programme Management Office environment.

· Experience working with multiple stakeholders across client, consultants, and contractors.

· Experience producing governance packs, dashboards and management reporting.


Essential Skills

· Strong organisational and coordination skills.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

· Analytical and problem-solving capability.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including MS Project and Power BI.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced programme environment.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.

· Ability to utilise Microsoft Office suite and reporting tools for meaningful programme insights.

· Familiarity with Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) or similar best practice frameworks.


Desirable Qualifications and certifications

· Degree qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction related discipline.

· APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) or Project Management Qualification (PMQ).

· Any other Project Controls / PMO related qualifications and / or certifications
