Program Manager - Contract

Program Manager - State Contract (12 months) | Oklahoma City, OK | Hybrid

The Role

We're hiring a Program Manager to lead medium-to-complex projects within a state PMO environment. You'll own the full lifecycle: planning, execution, vendor management, budget tracking, and stakeholder alignment. This is real project leadership—not a coordinator role.

What You'll Own

• Direct and coordinate projects of varying complexity through planning, execution, and closeout phases
• Manage vendor relationships, scope changes, budgets, and risk mitigation
• Ensure all deliverables comply with federal, state, and agency requirements
• Facilitate contract and governance processes
• Communicate status and blockers clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies (real-world, not just certification)
• Proficiency in MS Project
• Solid grasp of PMBOK framework and PMI principles
• Ability to manage complexity without over-complicating the message
• Track record managing budgets and vendor relationships in a regulated environment

Contract Details

Full-time, 12-month anticipated duration. Hybrid (Oklahoma City, OK).
