Job Description
Program Manager (Data Governance / Enterprise Technology)
Lead and manage enterprise Data Governance technology initiatives, including roadmap development, agile delivery, stakeholder engagement, governance operating models, change management, adoption, and reporting. Key technologies include Databricks Unity Catalog, Microsoft Azure, Informatica IDMC, and Power BI.
What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $57-67 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $68-78 per hour.
• 12-month contract with possibility of extension
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week 9 am to 5 pm
• Hybrid work, with 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
• Manage Data Governance roadmap and delivery initiatives.
• Gather and document business requirements.
• Create and prioritize epics, features, and user stories.
• Lead agile ceremonies and coordinate delivery teams.
• Engage stakeholders across business and technology groups.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and progress.
• Develop executive presentations, status reports, and business cases.
• Drive governance adoption, training, and change management activities.
• Track KPIs, adoption metrics, and value realization.
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Program Management, Product Management, Data Governance, Data & Analytics, or Enterprise Technology delivery.
• Strong Program/Product Management experience with Agile delivery methodologies. Business acumen should be there.
• Data Governance expertise, including metadata management, data quality, lineage, data access, governance controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms and technologies such as Databricks Unity Catalog, Microsoft Azure, Informatica IDMC, Power BI, JIRA, and related analytics tools.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational leadership capabilities.
• Financial services or regulated industry experience – nice to have
• Experience developing governance operating models and business cases – nice to have
• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, PMP, Data Governance, Cloud Technologies, or Product Management – nice to have
