Program Manager - Sustainable Building Solutions Location: Contiguous US (Remote) (Within proximity of a major airport) ASSA ABLOY is a global leader in door opening solutions dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and accessible building environment. If so, we have an exciting opportunity on our ASSA ABLOY sales team that is meant for you. What you will be doing: As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance and define ASSA ABLOY's sustainable products and solutions offering. Your work will help ASSA ABLOY maintain a position of market leadership while accelerating growth and expanding opportunities within the commercial and institutional building markets. Key areas you will contribute to the role include: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve systems and processes for collecting, managing, and reporting sustainability data and documentation. Leverage tools such as Excel and Salesforce to track customer sustainability inquiries, analyze trends, and deliver actionable insights and executive-level reporting. Build and uphold a list of active ASSA ABLOY specified projects where sustainability is a primary attribute of the owner / end user / architect. Prioritize and communicate the project list to the respective DSS territory Principal, TSM, Sustainability Champion, etc. Serve as the steward of sustainability information resources, maintaining websites, online toolkits, databases, and customer-facing content in collaboration with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. Lead the administration of third-party sustainability certifications, declarations, and reporting programs, including coordination of product certifications, manufacturing site audits, compliance documentation, and certification renewals. Partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Management, Innovation, and Quality teams to advance sustainability initiatives, improve environmental performance, and support the development of sustainable products and solutions. Act as a sustainability resource for Sales, Marketing, and customers by providing technical support, sustainability documentation, environmental certifications, and guidance on green building standards and customer requirements. Support the development of sustainability-focused marketing, training, and educational materials that communicate the environmental benefits, certifications, and value propositions of ASSA ABLOY's sustainable opening solutions. Contribute to internal and external communications, including sustainability campaigns, case studies, customer success stories, thought leadership content, public relations activities, and sustainability reporting efforts that reinforce the company's environmental commitments and achievements. Engage with specification teams to champion sustainable solutions and secure their inclusion in project specifications. As needed: represent ASSA ABLOY at industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, webinars, and training sessions to promote sustainability initiatives, support customer engagement, and strengthen industry relationships. Participate in and contribute to relevant organizations, industry councils, green building associations, and professional networks to stay informed of emerging regulations, market trends, certification programs, and best practices. Monitor evolving sustainability regulations, reporting frameworks, and green building standards, translating changes into actionable recommendations that support business objectives and customer needs. What we are looking for: You have strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working remotely. You have excellent analytical and reporting skills. You have excellent presentation skills. You have strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interact and influence at all levels of the organization. You are detail-oriented, organized, and known for follow-up habits. You are a self-motivated, organized individual who takes pride in attention to details and accuracy in their work. You can work independently but believe in teamwork. Ability to travel (up to 15%). Ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or while traveling. Education and/or experience: Your background includes a Bachelor’s degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: business, computer science, electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar), or have work experience commensurate with, minimum high school/GED diploma. MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or a similar industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Sustainability-related program management experience preferred. Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools and other industry-related software for program management and activity reporting preferred. The wage range for this role is $125K - $135K and considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business requirements, geographic location and other business and organizational needs. This salary range is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting.
