What you’ll be doing...
This role supports the National Partnerships organization, specifically Residential Strategic Sales (RSS) and National Retail (NR). You will drive operational strategy, end-to-end program execution, external stakeholder integration, and actionable analytics to optimize sales performance, streamline channel workflows, and elevate the customer experience.
- Serving as a dedicated advocate for the sales channel. Proactively investigate bottlenecks, ask the right probing questions, and identify high-impact opportunities to equip, enable, and empower the sales team or retailers/vendors to succeed.
- Managing the intake, evaluation, and operational alignment of vendor and retailer reporting requests to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and sales execution tracking requirements are properly captured and prioritized.
- Overseeing the end-to-end (E2E) intake, triage, and prioritization process for all National Retail project requests, ensuring business cases align with strategic priorities and resource availability.
- Design, author, and refine high-impact, executive-level presentations and slide decks that clearly synthesize complex data, strategic narratives, and operational updates for senior management.
- Translating complex data streams into high-level business intelligence, present actionable insights directly to executive leadership, and drive cross-functional initiatives to convert those insights into tangible operational outcomes.
- Continuously evaluating and optimizing operational tools, system workflows, and internal team processes to remove friction, improve productivity, and reduce operational costs.
- Delivering proactive insights, trend analyses, and strategic recommendations for National Partnerships to senior leadership, identifying emerging opportunities or potential risks before they impact channel performance.
- Partnering closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, IT, Finance, and External Partners) to coordinate program rollouts and maintain alignment across channel initiatives.
In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes assigned office days. The preferred locations for this role are the hub locations listed; candidates in other hybrid locations also may be considered.
What we’re looking for...
You are a curiously minded, proactive problem solver who thrives at the intersection of operations, analytics, and strategy. You are naturally inquisitive, never afraid to ask thoughtful questions, and constantly eager to learn the ins and outs of complex retail channels. You possess a strong ability to translate operational data into actionable insights and enjoy establishing streamlined processes in fast-paced, multi-partner environments. Passionate about being a champion for the field, you build strong relationships with external partners and internal leaders alike while balancing immediate intraday demands with long-term program planning.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
- Four or more years of relevant operational, project management, or channel support experience.
- Experience synthesizing complex data into executive-level deliverables, slide decks, and strategic presentations for leadership.
- Experience supporting indirect sales channels, specifically within RSS or National Retail environments.
- Demonstrated experience with project intake, prioritization, and managing end-to-end (E2E) project lifecycles across multiple workstreams.
- Experience managing external operational workflows, including partner communication and performance tracking.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Executive presence and communication skills, with a proven ability to translate insights into action and influence leadership decisions.
- Knowledge of National Partnerships business models, systems, and partner operational structures.
- Experience in process optimization, workflow automation, and operational tool improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
- Experience managing competing priorities and driving cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced, matrixed organizational setting.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter while remaining highly collaborative
- A continuous learning mindset—demonstrated curiosity, a track record of asking incisive questions to get to the root of a problem, and a drive to proactively enable sales teams.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
