Your Role

As a Regular/Senior Software Developer, you will be involved in designing, developing and delivering software solutions for customers in the shipbuilding and industrial engineering sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing customized software solutions based on customer requirements.
• Working on software solutions connected with CAD, ship design and engineering environments.
• Participating in software specification, design, development and implementation.
• Contributing to decisions regarding software architecture and technical solutions.
• Working closely with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Taking ownership of assigned development tasks and supporting the successful delivery of projects.
• Sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues in an agile and collaborative environment.
• Depending on your experience, taking a more senior role in coordinating development activities and supporting technical decisions.

What You Bring

We are looking for a developer who combines strong programming skills with an interest in engineering and CAD-related technologies.

Must have:

• Professional experience in C++ and/or C# development.
• Good understanding of software development processes, including specification, design and implementation.
• Knowledge or practical experience with CAD.
• Experience working in agile software development teams.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A customer-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to attend a 2–3-week training course in Hamburg and make short, regular business trips to Hamburg.

You will join a team developing software solutions for the shipbuilding and industrial engineering sectors. The projects include components of the OpenPDM SHIP integration platform as well as customized solutions developed to meet specific customer requirements.

The role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of software development, CAD and engineering, contributing to solutions that support modern ship design and production processes.
