We’re looking for enthusiastic and driven Programme Manager to lead our team — subject to the successful award of new contract in Norfolk.

About The Role

We are looking for a Programme Manager who can oversee the day to day running and overall performance of this programme in Essex. This position requires someone with initiative and a proactive, solution focused mindset to lead the service into successfully supporting the residents of Essex.

Combining vision and direction with strong relationship building and people management skills, you will take accountability for project performance across your delivery area.

You will manage a team of Senior Neighbourhood Work and Health Coaches who in turn manage proportionate teams of Neighbourhood Work and Health Coaches. Working with clients, health professionals, and service providers the teams are focused on making sure a person’s journey to improve their employment aspirations is as easy as possible.

The is a home-based role but will require the post holder to travel regularly weekly to Essex. On occasion some overnight travel will be necessary as well as last minute travel to your contract coverage area.

This is a performance-focused role, with clear targets . But more than tha t, it’s about changing lives .

This is a community-based role. You’ll work peripatetically across your chosen area(s), supporting clients where they are.

Recruitment Timeline

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre:

Date to be confirmed mid October.

Should we be successful in winning this contract, Work and Health will start induction on Monday 31st November 2026.
