Program / Project Management Lead

We are looking for an experienced Program / Project Management Lead who will be responsible for the successful and timely launch of a new production facility planned for 2029.

The main objective of the role is to coordinate all key areas involved in the project — construction, production, automation, logistics, infrastructure, and IT/OT systems — and ensure that the entire plant is delivered as one integrated system.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall program with a strong focus on the 2029 go-live deadline.
• Develop and manage critical-path plans, milestones, dependencies and project schedules.
• Monitor and control scope, budget, schedule and quality across the program.
• Coordinate milestone acceptance and ensure timely delivery of key project phases.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and dependencies to the Steering Committee.
• Coordinate activities across construction, production, machinery, automation, logistics, infrastructure and IT/OT.
• Ensure an integrated approach to factory layout, material flow, internal logistics and production ramp-up.
• Lead cooperation between multiple entities, including General Contractor, Contract Engineer and internal project teams.
• Manage stakeholders and drive effective change management throughout the program.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams covering production, logistics, IT/OT, ERP, simulation and HSE/BHP.
• Ensure that all project streams remain aligned toward the common objective of launching the fully operational production facility.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in complex Program / Project Management roles.
• Proven experience managing large-scale industrial, manufacturing or capital investment projects.
• Experience delivering greenfield projects, ideally involving the construction and launch of a new production facility.
• Strong knowledge of critical-path planning, scheduling, budget and cost control, risk management and milestone management.
• Experience coordinating multiple project disciplines and managing complex interdependencies.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with General Contractors, Contract Engineers and external suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with Steering Committees / senior management.
• Ability to operate effectively in a highly complex, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of how production, buildings, utilities, machinery, logistics and IT/OT need to work together as one integrated system.
• Very good English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make decisions, escalate risks and drive teams toward results under significant time pressure.

• Experience in the defense or automotive industry.
• Experience with factory ramp-up / production launch.
• Knowledge of ERP, IT/OT, industrial automation and simulation systems.
• Experience in projects involving significant organizational and technological change.
• Experience working in multi-entity / multi-contractor project environments.
