We are seeking a Project Accountant to provide financial support and insight across a portfolio of moderately complex projects. Working under general supervision, you will collaborate closely with project managers, operational teams and finance colleagues to support effective financial management and informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. This role would suit an analytical and detail-oriented finance professional who can manage complex financial information while maintaining a clear understanding of the wider commercial and operational context. Key responsibilities include: Providing project accounting support across moderately complex projects. Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, analyses and forecasts. Reviewing financial results and providing clear recommendations based on identified trends and findings. Partnering with project managers and operational stakeholders to support effective financial and commercial decision-making. Maintaining complete and accurate financial records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal requirements. Monitoring project financial performance and identifying potential risks, issues and opportunities. Performing financial audits and reviews to support compliance, accuracy and effective financial control. Preparing ad hoc and specialist financial reports to meet business requirements. Applying professional accounting principles and concepts in a consistent, practical and effective manner. Identifying and delivering process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency and service quality. Collaborating extensively with operational teams and colleagues across an international, matrixed organisation. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering or a related discipline. Approximately four to five years of relevant project accounting experience, ideally gained within a multinational organisation. Experience working in a complex, fast-paced and international business environment. Fluency in English and at least one additional language. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. The ability to manage detailed financial information while understanding the broader commercial and operational picture. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to different stakeholders. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. A proactive approach to identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Experience collaborating closely with operational teams and a broad range of stakeholders. A consistent commitment to accuracy, integrity and high-quality delivery.
