We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Accountant with French to join our international finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and supporting the financial performance of moderately complex projects. Working under general supervision, you will oversee project-related financial activities, prepare reports and analysis, maintain accurate accounting records, and collaborate with operational teams to support informed business decisions. Responsibilities Provide financial and accounting support for moderately complex projects. Monitor project financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and areas requiring attention. Prepare financial reports, analyses, and recommendations based on findings. Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal requirements. Support project forecasting, budgeting, financial reviews, and reporting activities. Perform financial audits and assist with resolving any identified discrepancies. Produce ad hoc and specialised financial reports for relevant stakeholders. Work closely with project managers, operational teams, and other finance colleagues to ensure the accuracy and integrity of project financial information. Apply professional accounting principles consistently and effectively. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of more efficient ways of working. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. Approximately three to four years of project accounting or relevant financial experience, preferably gained within a multinational organisation. Fluency in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working in a complex, fast-paced, and international business environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to manage detailed financial information while maintaining an understanding of the wider commercial and operational context. Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with operational teams and a broad range of stakeholders. Proactive approach to identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
