Essential Duties and Responsibilities Report to the Project Director identifying actionable recommendations on the best path to success for the LBNF/DUNE Project. Provide additional comments to the Director as deemed appropriate to ensure success of the project. Serve as a member of the Project Advisory Committee at approximately 2 meetings a year. Give expert advice on management and risks to help optimize the project. Craft well written and actionable reports. Education and Licensure Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field. Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required. Resource must be highly experienced in all aspects of DOE Office of Science project management and execution. 20+ years of related experience in project management and/or capital projects. 15+ years in nuclear and/or DOE related experience. Prior experience supporting Office of Science related capital projects. Preferred Qualifications and Location Details Period of Performance – October 1st, 2026 through September 30th, 2028 Total effort for this period will not exceed 160 hours Travel between Fermilab and Lead, SD site if required but remote based position. Prior experience as Federal Project Director.
