Project-Based Accounting Associate (2-Month Contract)

Job Overview

We are looking for detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Associates to join a project-based engagement for up to two (2) months. In this role, you will support the evaluation of employee expense reimbursements by reviewing supporting documents and accurately entering relevant data into the client's system.

This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals who are highly organized, can follow established procedures, and are available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate expense reimbursement documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter and organize supporting documentation, including:
• Mileage reimbursements
• Meals and entertainment expenses
• Travel-related expenses (hotel, airfare, car rental, etc.)
• Other receipts and supporting documents
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when processing financial information.
• Follow established procedures and project guidelines.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding work progress, questions, and issues.
• Complete assigned tasks within project timelines while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• CPA license is not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to follow documented processes and instructions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the project team.
