We’re seeking a Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, tracking, and execution of projects within the Marketing & Strategic Communications Directorate. This position serves as a point of coordination for department initiatives, helping ensure projects remain organized, stakeholders remain informed, and priorities remain aligned with objectives. Working closely with department leadership, project owners, volunteer staff, and external stakeholders, the Project Coordinator maintains visibility into active projects, monitors progress against established goals and milestones, facilitates collaboration across departments, and provides regular reporting and status updates to leadership. Salary Range: $68,000 – $78,000 (annually), based on experience and qualifications. What You’ll Do Maintain a comprehensive view of department projects, initiatives, priorities, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and action items Develop and maintain department and project dashboards, schedules, reports, and tracking tools; provide recurring status updates and briefings to department leadership. Schedule and coordinate project meetings, working sessions, and follow-up activities; document decisions, action items, and project outcomes. Track project budgets, vendor expenditures, contract milestones, procurement activities, and other assigned administrative requirements. Identify and communicate project risks, schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and other issues requiring leadership awareness or action. Support the development and continuous improvement of project management processes, workflows, documentation, and departmental operating practices. What We’re Looking For Experience: Two or more years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, program support, operations, communications, or a related field preferred. Technical Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and details simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across departments and organizational levels. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; experience with project management and collaboration platforms preferred. Demonstrated judgment, professionalism, discretion, and commitment to ownership, follow-through, and continuous improvement. Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration within a distributed team environment.
