As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from initiation to completion. Your role will involve planning, organizing, and executing projects within defined timelines, budgets, and scope. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, set project objectives, and allocate resources accordingly. Your effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be essential in managing project risks, resolving issues, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will play a key role in driving project success, meeting client expectations, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for ​Project Manager​: Pay commensurate with experience.

Project Manager​ Responsibilities Include:

Provides system administration of the IMS, Microsoft Project Server, and Microsoft Project.

Understands the infrastructure setup of Project Server and the dependencies on the SharePoint farm and recommend and make approved changes to related structures, data, and lists.

Implements, maintains, and manages planning tools/products in support of planning processes.

Conducts data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for assessment reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management.

Prepares and coordinates the modeling and re-engineering of the IMS for new or existing projects and support the integration of the Integrated Master Plan/WBS into the IMS.

Establishes and coordinates business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting objectives.

Utilizes applicable project management tools; implement network logic and measurement methods to perform critical path and risk analyses necessary to determines forecasting delays and evaluation of alternative scenarios.

Works with the Service Owners and Project Managers to review identified schedule and resource risks and issues across the projects, programs, and enterprise. Communicates schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable stakeholders.

Makes hardware and software technical recommendations; including helping users access requirements and providing justification for equipment and services; and assisting with the planning, design, and research for any new or upgraded hardware and software systems.

Assists the client in developing departmental and Command level SOPs, and Desktop Procedure Manuals as required, to support RHC-A services as the IT department gains new software and/or hardware capabilities. Shall maintain a formal Project Management Office staffed with PMP certified Project Managers fully authorized to coordinate and direct internal resources.

Performs project management activities including, but not limited to, planning, scheduling, reporting, organizing, coordinating, and directing internal resources to achieve requirements and service levels.

Uses the PMBOK terminology, guidelines, and principles in support of contractual obligations.

Maintains and continuously updates a repository accessible to the client of all enterprise level projects, local level projects, and major deployment activates using IMIT tracking page.

Reports near-real/real time project status utilizing current organizational tools.

Aids in the submittal of all Configuration Control Board documentation for all new hardware and software initiatives.

Provides a Transition to Operations Plan.

Project Manager​ Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Bachelor's degree is preferred or five (5) plus years of related experience, and three (3) years of general computer systems experience. One (1) year must relate to principal duties and responsibilities. One year of Agile and SCRUM management is preferred. Experience with managing complex, integrated work plans and assembling technical documents and providing detailed analysis of various business system functions.

Familiarity with DoD lifecycle management, DoDD 5000.1, DoDI 5000.02, and Defense Acquisition Guidebook.

Must have excellent oral, verbal, written communication skills.

Experience developing executive-level briefings and presentations.

Ability to lead or contribute to the development of the technical reports procedures.

Ability to lead a team of highly trained professionals to meet the project requirements.

Must have advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.

PMP Certificate is preferred.
