UL Solutions Renewables is seeking a Project Coordinator Intern to support our Project Managers with project coordination, data management and reporting, project planning, and process improvement activities.

This internship is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a hybrid working model, and will provide hands-on exposure to project coordination activities within the renewable energy sector.

As a Project Coordinator Intern, you will support the team with:

  • Project planning and coordination:
    • Assist Project Managers and staff members as necessary to perform their work.
    • Support the setup of projects in PSA and Oracle.
    • Support billing and invoicing activities in our fulfillment systems.
  • Project and revenue reporting:
    • Collect data from a variety of sources. Support the evaluation and interpretation of data.
    • Assist with the preparation of reports and supporting information.
    • Assist in developing and delivering presentations of reports.
  • Team and project administration:
    • Support general project and team administration and organization.
    • Assist with the preparation, formatting and editing of PowerPoint presentations for internal meetings and training.
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and other team projects as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
  • Interest in project management and/or the renewable energy sector.
  • Previous internship, academic project or other relevant practical experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to support project schedules and help ensure that project and program data are complete.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Exposure to ERP or business systems such as Oracle, Salesforce or PSA is an advantage.
  • Awareness of UAE business practices, invoicing or VAT considerations is an advantage but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to use various PC-based software packages for moderately complex word processing, graphics and spreadsheets.
  • Good interpersonal skills, along with good organizational abilities.
