Project Delivery Manager – Finance Transformation

• Contract: 12-months+
• Rate: €100-130 per hour
• Location: Largely remote - occasional travel

We are recruiting for a senior Project Delivery Manager / PM Lead to support a major Finance transformation and SAP S/4HANA implementation within a large international organisation.

You will provide project management leadership across multiple Finance workstreams, coordinating delivery between Global Process Owner teams and ensuring cross-functional activities remain aligned.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across Finance transformation workstreams.
• Coordinate activities across Record-to-Report, Financial Reporting, Fixed Assets, Tax, Treasury and Finance Master Data.
• Manage dependencies and cross-functional deliverables.
• Support the wider SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Drive delivery of process documentation and programme activities.
• Manage priorities and risks within a complex transformation environment.
• Work closely with senior Finance stakeholders, including VP-level leadership.

About You

• Strong senior-level Project Management / Project Delivery experience.
• Significant experience delivering system implementations or major transformation programmes.
• Strong Finance functional knowledge and understanding of Finance terminology.
• Experience working independently within complex programmes.
• Proven senior stakeholder management experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple Finance workstreams.

SAP S/4HANA experience is highly desirable, as is a background in Record-to-Report / Financial Reporting. Experience across Fixed Assets, Tax, Treasury or Finance Master Data would also be valuable.

The Opportunity

This is a key role within a large-scale Finance transformation programme, offering the opportunity to work across multiple Finance functions and contribute to a major SAP S/4HANA implementation. The team is international and predominantly remote, with Amsterdam as the primary location but no requirement for regular office attendance. Candidates based elsewhere in Europe can be considered. We are looking for a delivery-focused Project Manager who combines strong Finance knowledge with proven systems transformation experience.
