The Royal Women’s Hospital is one of Australia’s oldest and most distinguished tertiary hospitals dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of women and newborns, offering specialised services within maternity, neonatal and women’s health. Our goal is to be the best place to work, learn and contribute, and to provide exceptional experiences for our patients and consumers.

About The Team

The Digital Innovation Service (DI), hosted by The Women’s, provides a unified ICT capability across the Parkville Local Health Service Network, supporting The Women’s, The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac). Within DI, the Project Delivery & Transformation stream supports the coordinated delivery of complex digital and transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on governance, consistency, assurance and successful outcomes.

About The Role

As Project Delivery Specialist, you will provide high-quality coordination, delivery support and subject matter expertise across digital and transformation projects. Working with Project Managers, Program Managers and Portfolio Directors, you will support planning, execution, monitoring and governance across the project lifecycle, while maintaining strong project controls, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

A Regular Day Will See You

  • Coordinate project plans, schedules, tasks, meetings, workshops and dependencies.
  • Prepare and maintain key artefacts, including status reports, RAID logs, change requests, benefits registers and resource plans.
  • Monitor progress, reporting, risks, issues, budgets and governance requirements, escalating variances as required.
  • Support stakeholder, vendor, change, readiness and adoption activities across complex initiatives.

About You

You are an organised, analytical and collaborative delivery professional who can work confidently across complex healthcare and digital environments. You bring sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels while maintaining strong delivery discipline.

You’ll Bring With You

  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Digital Health or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience leading or coordinating process improvement, operations or digital transformation within healthcare or similarly regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership in ICT or digital health through service coordination, subject matter expertise and delivery of complex transformation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and collaboration skills, including experience working with senior leaders.

Our Benefits

At the Women’s you will enjoy a culture that is collaborative, supportive and passionate about learning. We have a strong sense of purpose, and engage in meaningful work every day. We offer our people a range of rewarding benefits, including:

  • Up to $11,660 in salary packaging benefits, for living expenses, meals and holiday accommodation
  • A suite of wellness initiatives designed to support you, including discounted financial, lifestyle and health options, and a comprehensive wellbeing program
  • Public transport options at our doorstep and end-of-trip facilities for cyclists
  • Onsite post office, eateries, retail stores and library services
  • Breastfeeding and pumping rooms, and a range of daycare centres nearby
  • Mentoring, learning and career development opportunities
