Role Description The Director, Project Management is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with flexi work arrangement. This role oversees end to end delivery of commercial interior projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards. The Director leads and mentors project managers, coordinates cross-functional teams, and serves as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors. Day to day responsibilities include reviewing project plans, monitoring progress and risks, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry best practices. The Director also contributes to strategic program planning, supports business development efforts, and provides regular performance and financial reporting to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong project and program management skills, including Project Management and Program Management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Budgeting and financial oversight, with the ability to manage project costs, forecasts, and profitability.
- Proven Team Leadership capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and fostering collaborative, inclusive project teams.
- Experience in Process Improvement, with a track record of optimizing workflows, implementing standards, and driving operational efficiency.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture, business, or a related discipline; advanced certifications (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.
- Extensive experience in commercial interiors, construction, or related project-based industries, preferably in a leadership role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and manage expectations at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and sound risk management practices.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, managing priorities across site, office, and remote settings.
