Project Engineer

Role Description The Project Engineer will support education-related projects by coordinating technical activities, assisting with project planning, and ensuring engineering tasks are completed according to specifications and timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and reviewing technical documentation, contributing to project schedules, monitoring progress, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. The role involves remote coordination with stakeholders, participation in virtual meetings, and use of digital tools to track project milestones and report status updates. This is a part-time remote role that requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and a focus on delivering reliable solutions that support the Ministry’s educational objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills to support technical design, analysis, and implementation.
• Demonstrated Project Management and Project Planning abilities to organize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate resources.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting technical information clearly.
• Experience working on infrastructure or technology projects in an educational or public-sector environment is an advantage.
• Proficiency with common project management and engineering software tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours efficiently, and meet deadlines.
