What you’ll do Our ideal candidate is not only experienced in civil engineering but also possesses a preference for tackling challenges in transportation, private development, stormwater or hydraulic modeling. You’ll make crucial decisions independently, find innovative solutions and plan and coordinate projects. As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll make independent decisions and will thrive under pressure. You’ll also: Plan and coordinate work. Apply standard engineering practices and techniques. Adjust and correlate data. Recognize discrepancies and follow standard procedures. Build relationships with clients. Work effectively under tight deadlines. What it takes Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering. If you have five or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk. You should be a licensed professional engineer or demonstrate the ability to secure licensure shortly after starting employment. Ideally, you will also: Speak and write well.
