Project Engineer – Land Installation

Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our office in Milan HQ. The Project Engineer - Land Installation will be part of a dynamic and international environment, working on projects relevant for the green transition to renewable energy. She/he will play an active part in the execution and success of the activities, interact with a multicultural team, in close contact with subcontractors and clients. This will definitely be an accelerator for personal and professional growth. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Support in defining cable installation requirements. Preparation of technical documents for cable installation activities such as detailed drawings, descriptive documents. Active interaction with internal departments, external consultants, subcontractors and clients. Support in planning activities of cable installation on site, with in addition possible site visits to check feasibility of the proposed solutions. Technical support to purchasing department for the finalization of subcontracts. Preparation and check of final as-built documentation. You are the right fit if you have/are: Honours degree in technical engineering (preferably civil, mechanical, or materials engineering) Fluent in English written and spoken 0/3 years of work experience As a plus, capability to speak, understand and write in German Language Knowledge and familiarity with of all basic and common software like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, GIS. Preference will be given to those who have basic knowledge of the land cable installation business/market Good relationship approach Team working capability Problem solving, target oriented, proactive approach in finding solutions in complex environment Capability to set and to handle pragmatically the priorities Flexibility and capability to manage changes during the work Wish to quickly learn and get involved. Job Level/Category: In line with the applicable collective agreement. Gross annual salary no less than: € 34.000 The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectives.
