Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer

7Seas supplies engineered concrete solutions for offshore and infrastructure projects worldwide. Our FLXMAT™ systems are tailored to each project’s technical, manufacturing and delivery requirements.

Our manufacturing model allows products to be fabricated close to the project. This means our engineers develop solutions that account for local suppliers, production capabilities and site conditions, combining technical knowledge with practical delivery.

We are undergoing rapid expansion and demand for our products. We’re looking for engineers to help us win work and deliver it. You’ll be involved from client enquiry and quotation through engineering, fabrication and delivery, working alongside our existing engineering, operations and site teams.

We may make multiple appointments. The title and level of responsibility will depend on each successful candidate’s experience.

What you’ll do

• Review client specifications and drawings and develop practical technical solutions.
• Prepare quantities, material take-offs, estimates, quotations and technical proposals.
• Develop and review models and drawings.
• Work with suppliers to confirm costs, production methods, quality requirements and lead times.
• Support project planning, procurement, fabrication and site delivery.
• Coordinate procedures, inspection and test plans, and QA/QC documentation, working with production and site teams to resolve technical or quality issues.
• Track scope, changes, schedules and risks, keeping clients and internal teams informed.

What we’re looking for

• A Civil or Structural Engineering background with experience with concrete structures would be advantageous. We also welcome applicants from other engineering disciplines with relevant skills and experience.
• Confidence working with 3D CAD models, technical drawings and specifications.
• The ability to develop solutions that can be priced, manufactured and delivered.
• Clear communication with clients, suppliers and site teams, and the judgement to raise risks and consult others before key decisions are made.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities or project sites when required.
