We’re looking for engineers to join one of our clients, an international company providing engineering, management, and consulting services, as they’re expanding their team in Budapest.


The company is looking for engineers who would be interested in gaining experience in engineering consulting projects.


The role is fully remote from Hungary, and a part-time work arrangement could also be an option.


Responsibilities:

  • Contribute actively to the delivery of industrial and process plant projects,
  • Prepare, review, revise and manage engineering documents, drawings and technical deliverables,
  • Develop and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D and other relevant engineering software,
  • Prepare and maintain P&IDs, layouts, technical drawings, equipment documentation, datasheets, equipment and line lists, and other project documentation,
  • Verify technical documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency and compliance, and resolve identified discrepancies with the relevant disciplines and stakeholders,
  • Collect, organize and evaluate technical information from clients, vendors, contractors and other project stakeholders, identifying gaps and following up as needed,
  • Coordinate engineering interfaces across the disciplines involved in company projects and follow up on actions required to resolve interdisciplinary issues.
  • Participate in internal and external technical meetings,
  • Manage technical follow-up with vendors, suppliers and project stakeholders for assigned scopes,
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve and standardize engineering documentation, templates, tools and internal working methods.



Requirements:

  • Completed degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline; alternatively, a technical or industrial secondary-school qualification with initial engineering experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong interest in developing a career in engineering services and technical project management.
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English; Italian language skills are considered a strong advantage.
  • Residence in Hungary
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD software and/or 3D modelling tools.
  • Accurate, organised and responsible working style, with the ability to work independently.
  • Availability for permanent employment.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional short business trips to Italy.
  • Willingness to sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement.
