This role provides administrative and general financial support across our portfolio of government programs. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment supporting federal clients. Responsibilities: Develop, monitor, and manage program budgets for federal government contracts. Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasts. Track contract funding, expenditures, and revenue recognition. Analyze program financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and contractual requirements. Complete project setup actions in the accounting and timekeeping systems; update as needed to reflect project or contract modifications. Monitor indirect rates, labor utilization, and project profitability. Prepare financial data for customer reviews, audits, and contract closeouts. Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, including: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), as applicable Assist in proposal pricing, cost estimates, and basis-of-estimate development. Collaborate with Program Managers to identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions. Support internal and external audits. Maintain financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and government requirements. Support invoicing activities, including documentation, validation, and timely submission. Participate in financial models to support strategic planning and business decisions. Reconcile project costs and ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition. Prepare ad hoc financial analyses as assigned. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required, with at least four (4) years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, program control, or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles, policies, and procedures. High attention to detail and accuracy in work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented, collaborative, and proactive in supporting professional development and continuous improvement. Desired Qualifications Experience using Unanet ERP and Financials. Prior experience in the federal/government contracting environment. Working Environment: eSimplicity supports a hybrid work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager. Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 5% per year.
