The Support and Development Center provide services to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and / or international mining operations in a variety of areas, including administration, financial services, IT, supply chain, human resources, communications, construction as well as technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, marketing, innovation, and digital transformation). YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE: The Project Lead – Orebody Knowledge reports to the Superintendent, Geology, Technical Services at the Support and Development Centre (CSD). Working in close collaboration with the Innovation team, corporate technical groups, and mine sites, you will be responsible for the implementation and optimization of core scanning technologies across the organization. In this role, you will develop and deploy the tools, methodologies, workflows, and best practices required to maximize the value of data generated through these new technologies. You will also ensure the effective integration of this data into geological logging, geological modelling, geometallurgical and geotechnical studies, resource estimation, and mine planning processes. As a key link between multiple technical disciplines, you will support the development and implementation of decision-support tools designed to optimize the entire mining value chain, from exploration to mineral processing. Through your leadership, innovation, and collaboration, you will promote the adoption of advanced technologies and contribute to a strategic initiative aimed at transforming geoscientific data into actionable insights that enhance decision-making, improve operational performance, increase predictability, and create sustainable value for the business. More specifically, you will: Support site teams in adopting new practices and facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization; Assist site teams with the implementation and adoption of new solutions; Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; Ensure that objectives and deliverables expected from core scanning technology providers are achieved; Work closely with a team of technical specialists dedicated to developing, evaluating, and deploying innovative technology solutions; Help maximize data value and drive continuous improvement of site practices; Monitor suppliers and emerging technologies related to orebody knowledge; Maintain awareness of industry developments by participating in conferences and working groups; Select, plan, and coordinate internal and external trials programs; Contribute to the development of the corporate core scanning strategy; Prepare and manage budgets related to technology development and support. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geological Engineering; a master’s degree is considered an asset; Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience; Minimum of 5 years of people management experience; Membership in a recognized professional association (Geoscientists or Engineers); Strong interest in emerging technologies and data management and processing; Experience with core logging; Experience in project management and financial analysis; Strong leadership and communication skills; Excellent stakeholder management abilities; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines; Proficiency in both English and French, written and spoken; Ability and willingness to travel to the company's operating and project sites; Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams and provide mentorship. Your Work Schedule Schedule: 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Possibility of 5-2/4-3 schedule; Workplace: Possibility to work in one of Agnico Eagle's offices closer to your residence in Rouyn-Noranda, Preissac, Val-d'Or, Mirabel, Sudbury or Toronto.
