About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PMO (Project Management Office) Specialist to support a major Data Center Migration program for a leading German financial institution.

This long-term engagement offers the opportunity to become part of a high-profile infrastructure transformation project, supporting project governance, planning, stakeholder coordination, and reporting across a complex enterprise migration.

Project Scope

As part of the infrastructure workstream, you will support the successful planning and execution of the Data Center Migration by:

• Supporting the structured analysis of the current ("as-is") infrastructure environment
• Coordinating requirements gathering activities across business and IT teams
• Assisting with migration planning and governance processes
• Contributing to project quality, risk, budget, and reporting activities throughout the project lifecycle

Key Responsibilities

• Define and establish the requirements gathering and specification approach
• Organize and coordinate requirements workshops with business and IT stakeholders
• Support the preparation, facilitation, and follow-up of project workshops
• Assist in developing and maintaining the project execution plan, including approval workflows
• Establish and actively maintain the project risk management process and risk register
• Coordinate quality gates throughout the project and support governance activities
• Support project budget planning and expenditure tracking
• Prepare meeting minutes and ensure accurate documentation of key decisions and action items
• Prepare management presentations and consolidate project inputs for Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings
• Maintain project documentation and ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and consistent

Requirements

• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Previous experience in a PMO role within large-scale IT Infrastructure, Data Center Migration, or Transformation projects
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience supporting project governance, risk management, budgeting, and reporting
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
• A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset

Working Model

• Location: Frankfurt, Germany
• Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite, 2–3 days remote
• Greater remote flexibility may be possible after the initial project setup phase (subject to approval)
• Full-time
