Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Technical Project Manager/Consultant on our Professional Services Consulting Team in Oklahoma (onsite at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB) in Oklahoma). The team member will perform work at a Dell Federal Department of Defense Customer location and work at the direction of the Department of Defense Customer. You’ll provide technical support and coordinate tasks and schedule for test and evaluation related work.
What you’ll achieve
As a Project Manager/Consultant, you will support operational test and evaluation within the B-1 Program Office (Tinker AFB, OK). You will support administration, validation and performance of systems in a high-tempo, mission-critical environment. This role is vital to ensuring the successful advanced testing and integration efforts for the B-1 platform while also contributing to business development efforts that expand program capabilities and partnerships.
You will:
Lead and support teams of system administration and maintenance engineers responsible for test hardware and software systems, ensuring operational readiness, cybersecurity compliance, and effective configuration management
Plan, coordinate, and execute B-1 test logistics and program activities, including resource allocation, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring all required equipment and materials are available for test events
Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, maintenance, flight operations, government, and contractor personnel to ensure test activities are executed efficiently, on schedule, and aligned with program objectives
Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed test execution schedules, proactively mitigating conflicts while applying financial controls to meet revenue, cost, and budget targets
Provide strategic leadership for program growth by supporting modernization and sustainment initiatives, collaborating with engineering and sales teams to enhance technical capabilities and align solutions with future defense priorities

Essential Requirements:
U.S. Citizen with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
Proven experience in complex logistics, project, and program management within defense or aerospace environments, with responsibility for managing cost, schedule, and performance across highly matrixed organizations
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers and developers, support informed decision-making, and evaluate modernization and sustainment initiatives
Experience supporting workforce growth through recruiting, onboarding, and facilitating appropriate program-level access for team members
Strategic leader who develops and communicates clear program roadmaps, fosters accountability, innovation, and collaboration, and is willing to travel up to 25% or more as required
Desirable Requirements:
Active Top Secret clearance and typically requires 3 - 5+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 1+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience
Experience working within a Program Office or Joint Program Office (JPO), coupled with a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification, and demonstrated technical expertise in B-1 mission systems, flight control architecture, data acquisition tools, and USAF test and evaluation avionics systems across multiple platforms, including the B-1
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $97,155 - $125,730.
