What You'll Be Doing Project Leadership & Coordination Support projects from kickoff through closeout. Coordinate activities between engineering teams, clients, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders. Track project milestones, deliverables, action items, and schedules. Assist in managing risks, scope changes, and project issues. Help ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. Project Controls & Financial Management Monitor project budgets, invoices, forecasts, and financial performance. Support cost tracking and reporting activities. Assist with contract administration and procurement functions. Help manage change orders and project documentation. Schedule & Resource Management Support schedule development and maintenance. Coordinate resources and identify workload or schedule conflicts. Track progress against key milestones and communicate updates to stakeholders. Assist with project forecasting and resource planning. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Participate in project meetings and communicate status updates. Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project teams. Serve as a day-to-day contact for project-related activities. Support customer satisfaction and project success. Continuous Improvement & Safety Support implementation of project management best practices. Participate in lessons learned and process improvement initiatives. Promote a strong safety culture and support environmental compliance efforts. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in: Electrical Engineering Civil Engineering Construction Management Engineering Management Or a related discipline 3+ years of project management experience supporting: Electric Utilities Transmission Distribution Substations Generation Energy Infrastructure Projects Experience coordinating engineering consultants, contractors, and utility stakeholders. Understanding of utility project lifecycles from engineering through construction and commissioning. Experience with project controls, scheduling, forecasting, and financial reporting. Preferred Experience Managing utility capital improvement programs. Managing projects exceeding $10 million in installed value. Primavera P6 experience. Microsoft Project experience. Utility transmission and substation project experience. Engineering consulting or EPC experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $62.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
